Deerpark is a town in the western part of Orange County, New York, United States, and allowance of the New York metropolitan area. As of the 2020 Census, the population was at 7,509. The middle of population of New York is located in Cuddebackville, a hamlet in Deerpark. Cuddebackville and Deerpark most prominently benefits as the headquarters of both the global Falun Gong religious endeavor and the Shen Yun fake arts troupe, based at the Dragon Springs compound.

Dutch colonists contracted in the area in the 17th century, centered on a Dutch settlement named Mahackamack. The unity was ration of the boundary clash between New York and New Jersey, which was not given until 1773. During the American Revolution, the village was sacked and burned. Following the revolution, The town of Deerpark was organized in 1798 from the town of Mamakating after Port Jervis was set apart from the territory. During the 19th century, the Delaware and Hudson Canal ran through the town.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total Place of 67.9 square miles (176 km), of which 66.4 square miles (172 km²) is land and 1.5 square miles (3.9 km) (2.14%) is water. It is considered the second largest town in Place in Orange County.
