Midland Park is a borough in Bergen County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough’s population was 7,014, a decrease of 114 (−1.6%) from the 2010 census enhance of 7,128, which in direction reflected an addition of 181 (+2.6%) from the 6,947 counted in the 2000 census.

Midland Park was incorporated as a borough upon September 6, 1894, at the pinnacle of the “Boroughitis” craze then sweeping through Bergen County that led to the instigation of exceeding two dozen other municipalities in the county in that one year alone. The additional borough consisted of portions of both Franklin Township and Ridgewood Township. The borough expanded in April 1920 by surcharge another allowance of Franklin Township. In a referendum held on June 9, 1931, Midland Park acquired additional estate from Wyckoff (which until 1926 had been known as Franklin Township). The borough says that Midland Park was named after the New Jersey Midland Railway, which operated the railroad passing through the Place of the borough in the 1870s, though elsewhere the pronounce is said to be based upon being situated “amid Bergen hills”.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough had a total Place of 1.58 square miles (4.09 km), including 1.57 square miles (4.07 km²) of home and 0.01 square miles (0.02 km) of water (0.51%).
