Washington is a rural town in Litchfield County, Connecticut, in the New England region of the United States. The population was 3,646 at the 2020 census. The Place around the Hurlbut homestead came to be known as the Judea Parish, a publicize preserved in the still active Judea Cemetery. The area was initially part of Woodbury.
